Please join us for an interactive program that will address how to both give and receive feedback in such a way as to enhance relationships and achieve excellence. Anna Rappaport, Executive Coach, will cover the ten key factors for giving effective feedback, look at examples from three of the most challenging subjects for feedback (personal habits, legal analysis, and attitude) and offer tips for creating a firm culture that encourages both collegiality and constructive dialogue. The second half will address how to ask for feedback in a meaningful way from colleagues, staff, and clients. Anna will offer recommendations for setting the stage, specific questions to ask, and frameworks for analyzing (and possibly implementing) the feedback. This program will be interactive and participants who attend will have an opportunity to practice the skills they learn throughout the evening.
Pre-registration for this evening program is encouraged. As always, please feel free to share this invitation with colleagues. D.C. Bar membership is not required to attend. Food is available on a first-come, first served basis. Doors open at 5:30 pm. Networking will begin at 6:00 pm. Program content will begin at 6:15 pm.
