The WBA’s Art of Persuasion High School Speech Competition is a public speaking educational program for students grades 9-12 hosted virtually. It will give students a unique opportunity to learn about effective public speaking techniques and to present their speeches in a virtual competitive environment. First place speakers in each division will earn a $100 prize and have their speeches printed in the WBA newsletter, Raising the Bar. Winner of Experienced Division will deliver a shortened version of the speech at the October Symposium in the fall.
