This year the Diversity Committee will host a book club to read through fiction and nonfiction books that are listed on or similar to the works on The WBA's Discussing Racism & Being Anti-Racist Toolkit
 
"The Book of the little axe" by Lauren Francis Sharma, will be our first read. This work of fiction has been described as a "compelling novel about a woman of color who fights against society's expectations."  Dionne Peart, will lead the discussion with author Lauren Francis-Sharma who will read portions of her book.  We invite you to read this selection, come out, and bring your questions to this lively event!
