Speaker Bio:
Jeffery Anoka is the Director, Center for Human Capital Services at USAID.  Before that position, he held a leadership position in human resources at the Administrative Office of U.S. Courts and also was Director of Corporate Recruitment and Outreach with the Department of Energy (DOE).  Jeff also has managed the SEC’s workforce diversity outreach program within the Agency’s Office of Minority and Women Inclusion (OMWI).  Jeff has also worked for the Consumer Financial Protect Bureau (CFPB); the Export-Import Bank of the United States (Ex-Im Bank); the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC); and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).   Jeff holds an MBA from the University of Maryland University College and a B.A. in Human Resources Management from Georgia State University

Allison Alexander heads Clark Enterprises’ legal department. Ms. Alexander’s career comprises more than 15 years of top tier law firm, in-house legal and investment experience. She was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Legal Officer at SCI Ventures, a Maryland-based venture capital firm with over $200 million under management. At SCI Ventures, Ms. Alexander oversaw the fund’s transactional and general legal matters and helped to lead the firm through several successful exits. Before SCI Ventures, Ms. Alexander practiced corporate and securities law at DLA Piper US LLP, where she advised clients in debt and equity financing transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial contract negotiations, and corporate structuring and governance matters. She received her JD degree with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law and is a summa cum laude graduate of Syracuse University. Ms. Alexander serves on the Board of Directors of Children’s Law Center and the Board of Trustees of the National Center for Children and Families.
Anna Rappaport is a former lawyer with 19 years’ experience coaching attorneys and 11 years’ experience mentoring and training other coaches. As an executive coach, Anna serves as a sounding board, focusing partner and strategic resource. She assists clients to create strategic, business and career plans suited to their strengths and preferences; find the time and energy to implement these plans, and enhances business communications.  Anna has spoken at numerous conferences and provided workshops to law firms both in the U.S. and abroad.  She is a contributor to The National Law Review and Law Practice Today.
Lisa Nelson is the Engagement Manager for USAJOBS at the Office of Personnel Management. Lisa Nelson is the founder of an internal federal government startup called Open Opportunities. Open Opportunity is a platform to transform how work is done from the current stove-piped agency model to one that leverages the skills and capabilities of federal employees across the government when and where they are needed. By fostering a disruptive program and building a network of federal employees, Lisa is increasing the capacity of the government to innovate by leveraging the skills and capabilities of federal employees across the government when and where they are needed.
