Join us to hear about Congresswoman Clarke’s experience campaigning for and serving in elected office!
 
Congresswoman Yvette Clarke represents Brooklyn’s Ninth Congressional District. She serves on the Energy & Commerce, Small Business, and Ethics Committees. Congresswoman Clarke chairs the Multicultural Media Caucus, which aims to eliminate stereotypes in the media and expand ownership of media entities to include communities of color. She also co-chairs the Black Women & Girls Caucus, which develops programs to support the aspirations of African American women of all ages.
 
In addition, Congresswoman Clarke serves as Co-Chair of the Caribbean Caucus, where she has works to build the relationship between the United States and the Caribbean community (CARICOM) on matters of trade, immigration reform, and direct investment through development programs. She is also an At-Large member of the Congressional Black Caucus Executive Committee.

This fall, the WBA is collecting items for Bread for the City’s Baby Pantry. Items can include diapers (sizes 4-5-6 in particular), baby wipes, bottles, pack and play items, and formula. Anyone who donates items/money at any WBA event this fall will be entered into a drawing for a $100 gift card compliments of Koonz, McKenney, Johnson, DePaolis & Lightfoot LLP held in mid-December.
