The Stars of the Bar Fall Networking Reception kicks off the WBA's program year. It is typically attended by more than 300 women and men, including firm, nonprofit, and government attorneys, judges, law students, and leaders in the DC legal community. Stars of the Bar offers a professional and friendly environment to network with other attorneys, including WBA members and WBA and WBA Foundation leadership, and find out more about our programs and services.
Our theme for this 2017-2018 bar year is “marching on” together. We have arrived at our Centennial anniversary year and have celebrated the great advancements women have made in the profession. However, our work is far from done and the WBA is committed to moving forward and continuing to advance women lawyers. This year, our "Stars" are law firm leaders who are blazing the trail for other women in law firms. The WBA looks forward to publically saluting their achievements.

Attendees also have an opportunity to meet the WBA’s committee and forum co-chairs, who plan numerous substantive programs that address the professional and practical needs of our membership and of the greater DC legal community. Representatives from the Women's Bar Association & WBA Foundation leadership are present to answer your questions, alert attendees to upcoming events, and help members get more involved in the WBA and the WBA Foundation.
Cost: This event is free to attend and open to the public, however registration is highly encouraged.
