WBA Testimonials
"What a total delight it was to meet you last night and to participate in such a wonderful evening.  It was unquestionably one of the best bar association programs I've ever attended.  Well done.  Last night convinced me that I want to get more involved in the WBA."
--Julia Anne Matheson, Finnegan, Henderson, Farabow, Garrett & Dunner, LLP

"I would like to pass on to you and the leadership of the WBA how pleased and honored I am to have received your endorsement.  It means a great deal to me in terms of the judicial nomination process and on a personal level."

"I had to write and thank you for all that you and your bar association have done. Your diversity studies and report are phenomenal. Please keep up the focus."
--Marcia Eason, Miller & Martin PLLC

"At the Boot Camp: Real World Training for Future Success hosted by the Diversity Committee of the Women's Bar Association, I was excited to hear the panel of veteran women lawyers' openly describe some of the same workplace challenges that I have experienced and then suggest practical ways to overcome the challenges.  The event should be a 'must attend' for any young female lawyer because of the opportunity to engage in an open dialogue in an intimate setting of the dilemmas that exist in the workplace.  Moreover, the event was a personal success for me because I found a great mentor who is a seasoned veteran in an area of law that I plan to exclusively practice in the future."
--Markisha Tindall

"I have been a proud WBA member since 1988, when I first came to DC to practice law, and I never cease to be inspired and energized by the amazing women I have met through this terrific organization. They have been wonderful role models, teachers, mentors, friends and colleagues to me over the years and I will be forever grateful to the WBA for its impact on me both professionally and personally."
--Amy Bess, Vedder Price P.C.
