Toward the end of his historic presidency, President Barack Obama made history once again by commuting more sentences than any other president in U.S. history, while granting fewer pardons than the majority of past presidents. What effects will these commutations and pardons have on sentencing guidelines, rehabilitation, and criminal background checks? Please join us for a panel discussion as we explore the long-term impact the Obama presidency had on the criminal justice system and reform.

The networking reception will take place from 6:30pm-7pm, with the panel discussion starting promptly at 7pm. Heavy hors d'oeuvres and beverages will be served.
